Neoprene = Neoprene is a synthetic material much used in making ‘wetsuits’,  car fan and air conditioning car compressors, noise suppression synthetic pads, etc. It is also used in automobile seat cover making.

Coverking Custom Fit seat covers = Coverking seat covers that are designed to fit a vehicle’s seat as good as the factory installed upholstery is referred to as a Custom cover. Coverking Custom Fit covers are created using automation systems incorporating computer aided designs as also computer aided manufacturing techniques permitting every pattern to be customized for the materials used in the pattern, thus ensuring 100% fit in all respect.

Semi-custom Fit seat covers = Semi-custom Fit seat covers do not fit as perfectly as a Coverking Custom seat cover. Also, they are not created for any particular model of automobile. These covers should never be used in vehicles that are equipped with Side Airbag Safety features as they are sure to interfere with the functioning of SIPS.

Pelt = Pelt in seat cover industry language stands for animal skin that still has the animal hair, wool or fur attached to it. Pelt is often used in seat cover making in place of genuine fur which is far too expensive.

Friction = Friction in the seat cover world means any chafing or rubbing between two similar or dissimilar materials during movement as a result of which heat is generated. It can happen due to rubbing between the clothing and the covering fabric. The heat thus created often causes surface deterioration of either one or both the materials.

Pink Slip = Pink Slip is an American slang that stands for the car registration document or certificate. It is usually printed in paper having a pinkish hue. The term is also linked with road racing that permitted the winner to grab the loser’s vehicle as the winning prize.

Polyester = Polyester is a tough synthetic water-resisting fiber much regarded by the disco community during the seventies. However, Polyester is extensively used in car seat cover making.

Coverking Universal seat covers = Universal seat covers will fit any high or low-back bucket seat in any automobile. However these covers never fit really well and are thus not recommended.

UV or Ultra Violet radiation = UV or Ultra Violet radiation denotes emission of Ultra Violet rays that come along with the sunrays and is not only harmful for human skin and the eyes, but are damaging to most upholstery materials. Prolonged exposure to UV is never good.
